I don't think we'll hear about the Coyotes being sold, but as there is a exit clause in the deal. We might end up hearing the Coyotes have been moved.

Good old Gary. Still trying to hammer square pegs in round holes. Way to ensure a future lockout.

Does anyone else out there believe now that this group purchased this team with an out clause they'll be able to lose their 50 million and move the team to a city that Bettman believes will 'make money'? I've been vocal about this before. I have been to Glendale once a few years ago and really enjoyed the Westgate complex. In theory this market should do well, not necessarily because there are sellouts which Yotes fans supporting the team but because its a destination nhl city. I watched the Oilers play the coyotes when I was in Glendale, I believe they announced the crowd at 10,000 people, I don't think it would be a stretch to say that 3000-4000 fans were cheering on the oilers. The smoke an mirrors show that they sold the the city council delayed the inevitable, I see this team moving in 3-5 years once they lose their 50 mil. I don't know how on earth they plan to get fans in the seats when they haven't been able to since 1996 (granted some of that time was in phoenix itself). This debacle isn't over yet....

haha.... love the one liner pal.

Are you old enough to know the difference between being negative and being logical? Logic says this team is moved once they lose the 50 million they have built into the lease as an out clause. Negative is pulling out the worst of the situation. I'm not confident you didn't read my entire comment. Now tell me, are you delusional in believing this team is going to stay put in Glendale? or are you angry because your thrashers moved to the city that I have posted as my favorite team?

Any person who has ever done business or whom has signed a lease has an out clause. Every other team in the sports industry has an out clause on their lease and so does any smart person whom leases a car, home, boat etc... Its basic, smart knowledge for signing a lease, so lets talk about the other teams and their out clauses... Or are we to good for that??? Go Yotes!!!
